Tommy Lee and DJ Aero will be DJing at Vega Friday night following the Nebraska-Florida Gulf Coast game at the Pinnacle Bank Arena.

The Motley Crue drummer who "went to college" at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in October 2004 for an NBC-TV reality show is back to DJ at halftime of the first Husker game at the new Haymarket Arena.

Judging by his Twitter account, Lee also will  join the Nebraska drum line — he he played with them at a Husker football game during his 2004 stint here — at the basketball game.

Lee "heard from a friend about our brand spanking new club across the street," Vega's Jeremy Buckley writes in an email. "They came in last night and checked out some of AZP's stellar set and asked if they could come by after their halftime performance to play a set. Naturally we said yes."

$pencelove and Stephen Bils will get things started around 10 p.m. Tommy Lee and DJ Aero will follow.
